So, a few months ago, I ordered a 1/100 scale Macross Factory. It shipped free from Japan, included a couple repair bays, a couple mecha, support vehicles, and crewmen. A great deal.

Here's my blog post on it.

That looks so cool. I'm watching the Macross Saga as I type this, so it's timely. :)

Thanks for that. I've always been interested in that kit, ever since I saw parts of it used a decade or so in a custom terrain piece on "Necromundicon".

The Japanese figures look quite malnourished next to the 15's.

Correct.

But, different casting methods, different sculpts, different styles.

Also, combat body armor vs. flightline coveralls would explain it.

They should still get along fine on the tabletop.

Best,
JBR

nice

I may have to buy that for my gundams to live in. The gundam bays are pretty weedy in comparison.

LOL, as a kid I had the Revell branded version of this kit, but after a day screwing around with it abandoned it in favor of my Zoids. Still have the Tomohawk but everything else from it is long gone. Thanks for the great post mate.

The link said there where 4 kits left, now there are three.

Thanks for showing everything. I dont know how well it will fit woith the rest of my 15mm traveller stuff, but from y0our pics and comments, should be just fine.

its a great kit well worth it weather you want it for 15mm or just to build. I have a couple of the originals and once of the new releases. the box art is fantastic.
Have fun John

Lion in the Stars, it's just a standard Toynami 1/100 transformable Valkyrie I picked up a few years ago at San Diego Comic Con. They are very decent, for toys. I have a pair of VF-1As still in the box.

I really wish I had picked up some of the 1/100 Battle Pods, especially the missile artillery pods.

Best,
JBR
