On Saturday 15th of November 2014, the Phoenix Gaming Club of Rushden will be holding our fourth 28mm WW2 Bolt Action tournament: Operation Torch.
This is based on the Allied landings in North Africa of 8–16 November 1942
This event takes place at our usual venue: Rushden Scout HQ, (behind Orbit Tyres) off Skinners Hill, Rushden, Northamptonshire, NN10 9YE

There are 24 places in the event, 12 for Axis players, and 12 for Allied players.
Entry into the event is £15.00 GBP payable by cheque, to PHOENIX GAMING CLUB or alternatively by Paypal to furry_cup@hotmail.com
Those wishing to pay by Paypal will need to add £1.00 GBP to their entry to cover fees.

The Tournament will consist of 3 games:

Allied 1250 (Attacking) vs Axis 1000 (Defending)
Axis 1250 (Attacking) vs Allied 1000 (Defending)
500 point scouting game

There will be trophies / medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places (for both Axis and Allied) as well as a best painted army prize for each side, which will be based on your 1250pt force. The lowest scoring player from each faction will win a small consolation prize and there may be other prizes on the day depending on sponsorship etc

Our tournaments have proven very popular so get your name in soon!
A full tournament pack will be posted on the PGC forum shortly.
