Very good movie. I especially like the "moving picture" animation of the movement of the corps. It shows the relative positions and the timings of the movements. Usually we just see a map with maybe 2 or 3 positions of troops at about 4 hour intervals. No idea of how they got there and whether they fought for ground or just marched up, and who was fighting when verus marching. I would love to see individual battles animating this way with the details down to the regimental level. |

I am a long-time supporter of the Civil War trust. They continue to do great things to preserve our Civil War heritage. And I love their maps. We have done some very interesting scenarios using the Trust's materials. |
