Greetings TMPers. I have recently thrown my hat into the ring with a new blog. I have a new project in the works, a 40mm skirmish game using Perry miniatures and Songs of Drums and Shakos. I hope you enjoy and any feedback you might have would be welcome.

Looks promising. A followers button would help me to keep track of it!

I can certainly do that. Which one do you prefer? g+?

I'll be honest. I wondered did anyone buy or paint these 40 mm figures. They are not for wargaming I guess, so maybe they appear elsewhere, but I've been missing them. Really nice.

deadhead,

Yes we are using 40mm for skirmish. I am a fellow conspirator/collaborator with HNM in this endeavor.

For the first time in my life I may use a service to get them painted, as I do 15mm and 6mm only.

Yes, 40 mm is really nice for skirmish.
Also, they work well for unit "markers" for Kriegspiel type games.
But, increasingly, I have them painted for me (shame, shame, shame on me).
