The finished model on their website looks great. I can't tell if the new Warlord kit is the same as the new 4Ground kit. Just comparing photos they look to be by different makers, or the modeler for Warlord did some major work to up-detail their kit. Anyone have first hand info?

Two different manufacturers I think….. The Warlord kit is by Sarissa Precision

sarissa-precision.co.uk

And 4 Ground have produced their own version…..

From the pictures of the two they would appear to be quite different. Warlords pricing seems a bit steep

It is a real beauty and both versions look good . Very good starter for the gaming period too.

Where is it showing?

They sent an email out to newsletter subscribers at midnight…. I think they say it will be available to see on line / pre order on the 9th July for shipping on the 18th from them……

So they got the drop on a Warlord but Warlords product is available….

It will be interesting to compare prices as the Sarissa stuff is unpainted……

I would compare and contrast them carefully. I have 15mm WW2 houses from both and the Sarissa stuff, whilst absolutely serviceable, is nowhere near the same quality IMHO. But 4Ground is certainly more expensive.

It is not a kit, It is a "Battle Set". I was kind of hoping that one side would be cast in red plastic and the other side in blue.

Is it as good as the Airfix one?

You can order the battle set from On Military Matters onmilitarymatters.com with a 15% discount. It will be available in July.I just went on the website and the newest e-flyer has it as a 10% discount but the newsletter they send to me says 15%

There's loads of foigures with the Warlord kit

I think I counted around 170 without the pile of dead French in the collectors set.

I ordered the Collectors edition yesterday and received my shipping notification this morning. Looking forward to digging into it.

Am I right – that the building is unpainted?

Perry's have the 4Ground La Haye up on their site. Roughly $400 USD for the building set with no figures and free s/h. For $100 USD more they include figures. Three box sets and the 2nd KGL BN in metal.

4Ground has it up as well, but also sell set or by building. 565mm x 735mm or 22.25 inches square. The longer measurement includes the garden wall. This makes it 6" longer and wider for the main farm area or a bit bigger than Sarissa which is 18" square (not including the garden wall).
