My sculptor Bob Soutar, has completed the US Mounted Cavalry greens. These will soon be shipped off to Griffin Moulds for the creation of production moulds. I hope to have these in time for Historicon. Here are a few shots. More may be found on my site under the link entitled "On the Work Bench".

The mounted command will come with bugler, standard bearer and mounted officer. This can of course, be used as mounted brigade, division or corps command for infantry as well.

Thanks,

Bill

Those are terrific Bill! The horses are nice and slender and the rider poses are active sensible.

Bill, those are superb. I had given up on my 10mm ACW armies – mainly because my eyesight isn't what it used to be and I find them hard to paint – but you are seriously tempting me to start it up again.

Ah ha, my insidious plan is uncovered! Providing temptation to the unwitting miniatures gamer.

Seriously, thank you both for the kind words. I try to have these sculpted to my own rather picky tastes. Bob's work has been superb. I am happy to send samples if you want to test your eyes. I hope to have these in hand prior to Historicon.

If sample packs don't work, I am considering hiring Kevin Nelan (Sp?) from the old SNL "Mr. Subliminal" bit to do my adds! : )

Gosh those look good. Again, the sense of urgency that is conveyed in these tiny sculpts is just amazing.

When is your ETA for having them available for sale?

ACWBill18 Jun 2014 8:19 a.m. PST

I am planning to have them by Historicon. I will have a booth at the con this year which I am sharing with Toby Barrett from Thoroughbred Models. Historicon is July 17-20 in Fredricksburg, VA. I hope to have them on my website for sale the Monday prior to that. This of course, is entirely dependant upon the turnaround on the moulds.
