The HAWKs are making final preparations for our annual Historicon Armies for Kids project. At the end of the game, the kids walk away with two complete, painted armies. See the full article at: link |

Just to clarify, this project we just completed is for 2014. Next year, the 2015 project will be 40mm ACW based on a generous core donation from Maynard Creel. We are currently looking for more 40mm ACW figures to help fill out this project if anyone has figures to donate. If you have any, or any figures you would like to donate, PM me or email at cnjpalmer (at) aol (dot) com link |

Thanks for the kind remarks, guys! GamesPoet- Thank you for your interest! I really can't answer your question now, because we usually work backwards from how many figures we have had donated being the determiner of which rules we use (skirmish or tactical) and how big our units are. It wont be until later in the Summer or early Fall that we will meet and look at what we have and make those kinds of decisions. If pressed for an answer, based on what we have already, I would say 10 or 12 figures would be a good estimate for a unit at this point. Of course, any donation from 1 figure to 1000 would be gratefully accepted. |

Guys, a gentleman from New York named Randy painted those ACW figures and I bought them from him. I wish I could remember his last name. If I see him I will ask. And if I can dig up some rebels for you I will. They will definitely be unpainted! |
