Hello!

I had been addicted to MOW since '92 and was never keen on buying the ebay stuff (expensive, not living in the US or Europe,…) and I was taken by surprise when the game disappeared in the 90's.

So I am starting a count-as fleet. Here are the scale comparison between 1/1200 and Bretonnian fleet

Count-as is the best part of any GW game. I approve!

Montiboy, have you considered the Uncharted Seas range?

Here's a pic of my US Imperial Fleet's flagship from my blog:

The scale is 1/600, but you can't beat these beauties for detail and range.

I looked into it. But Finally, I moved to Valient as I thought the size would be "ok". Made a mistake but finally loved the range.

It will be difficult to find Dwarf fleet though.

Very nice photographs! I especially liked your MoW Pirate Wargalley painted in blue colors.

Keep up the good work!

Good job!

Yeah, Man o War is a fun game. I've cribbed that for other settings, especially for RPG naval battles. There were a lot of goofy ships, but those could be ignored if not to one's tastes, and the core rules made for a good game.

Lovely pic, Martin.

Any of your proxies are far better than the originals. I love the Valiant ships.

Great choices- good luck on your endeavors!

the original were good, very good. They had characters. But having ships more realistic will mean more possibilities.

I will not miss the Chaos and Dark Elves fleets that much. We always played Empire, Bretonnia and Dwarf Kingdoms.

Next will be the Imperial fleet painted and show of the current Dwarf Fleet/Bretonnian Fleet with cork sheets.
