Another small battle with the battle the Giza had to fight to get to Berber for that assault. Fist time using Boilers and Breechloaders. I really liked the rules. Enjoy. Last Stand Dan link |

Best AAR of the bunch I will probably pick up the BB rules better than writing my own. I want to run some gunboat battles in the Congo between allied Europeans against Colonel Kurtz's Belgian renegades. I could imagine it would get quite nasty with several reinforced gunboats per side. What other types of boats / ships do the rules cover? Are there special rules for mines and boarding etc

Absolutely terrific! I'd wager you just sold a number of copies of these rules for TVAG. Well done! |

Dear Dragon Gunner, Yes, B&B covers boarding actions, early mines and torpedoes, rockets, as well as a wide range of naval guns and MG's as would be available from about 1860 to 1914. The rules provide for any existing ship model--steam, wind or oar powered--to be "rated" for its own Points Value which helps determine how much damage it can sustain, as well as the chances of suffering Critical Hits affecting firepower and/or movement, plus crew casualties, etc. The rules are available in both Print and PDF Editions and include a variety of card stock printable game markers, Action Cards, and even a Wind Vane to mark its force and direction. Now in its 4th Edition, the biggest selling single title in all of TVAG's catalog for some 12 years, and updated periodically, B&B really does belong on any Colonial War Gamer's shelf. TVAG |

Danno, Another Outstanding report!!!!! You really bring the games to life in your AAR's. You can almost smell the cordite, hear the rounds impacting, and feel the dice. Great looking minis too. The Giza looks amazing brother. It's going to be a very sad day once you've completed the campaign
.. We should plan a massive game next year at Colonial Barracks with all your boats and mine together, it would be insane. Maybe even a bring and play??? Cheers, Sgt. Guinness |
