Now that Brienne knows that Aria is alive, that complicates the Lady Stoneheart thread, if they follow up on that. And now that Tywin is dead who will supply Roose and Ramsay with "fake Arya"? What about Robb's will legitimizing Jon? That thread is shredded but that was done last season. No need to speculate who Coldhands is. He doesn't exist. Half the nobles in the Vale now know where Sansa is. Dumb. What happened to Gendry, btw ? |

Bottom line is that book nerds now know less than they think they do.

Yeah, the book story line has been shot to pieces. I watch the show as the show, and read the books as the books. Aside from some common names, I pretty much consider them two separate entities. I enjoy both more that way. =) |

Sadly though, it looks like "There and Back Again" by Tyrion Lannister, is still going to be a viable book. |

It may be viable, but I have faith that watching Peter Dinklage make that trip will be more fun than reading about it. |

I would have liked to see someone chewing the scenery as Lynn Corbray. You can't have too many thoroughly unpleasant characters in Game of Thrones, particularly facing off against Littlefinger. |

Oh, and Varys hopping on the boat with Tyrion as cargo. That's different. |

> Oh, and Varys hopping on the boat with Tyrion as cargo. Most likely he will take the place of one or two characters that Tyrion would have run into in the books. Otherwise he would not be seen for another season or two. |

HBO likes to keep popular characters in the loop, even if they are not in the current books that are being produced this year. Everybody likes the creepy untrustworthy Varys. |
Tango01 | 16 Jun 2014 12:09 p.m. PST |
Varys in the boat was good!. Why he left Kingslanding? Because of Cercei? Amicalement Armand |

Varys is the one who helped Jaime spring Tyrion. Tyrion ruined his plans to sneak back to the castle and appear surprised. Then they found the body. Did Tyrion tell him? "Oh, by the way
" I will have to catch it again on demand tonight. Had it been a mere matter of helping Jaime's little brother escape, he may have come out OK. But being implicated in slaying the Hand (and Cersei's Dad) is quite another thing. Cersei is now the Queen Regent, without a powerful Hand to restrain her. She does not rule rationally in Book 6. Jaime is only Lord Commander of the King's Guard. Varys may have sensed that the bread may have fallen butter side down and the coast is clear. |

Many thanks my friend. Cannot imagine the disaster that Cercei would do without control. What about the "fiancée" of his son (the king)? I think she is running now to his fatherland? Amicalement Armand |

Things will get much much more interesting Tango01. That would still be a spoiler. So I cannot go into it. But things will get wild! |

Let's just say she is not fit to rule, and that Lena Heady will really get to chew the carpet. |
Sondergaard | 17 Jun 2014 1:31 p.m. PST |
Lena Headey a carpet muncher? Well, there's a turn up. |

And speaking of, in what must be a shocking reversal for HBO, they seem to have dropped the extraneous lesbian dabblings of some of the characters. |
