I am planning a "what if" 1962 cold war goes game.

What aircraft were primarily used by the U.S. and the Soviets.

I know the Soviets sent Mig-21's to Cuba so there are good scenarios there. But what Aircraft were the primary aircraft used during the Crisis.

Primarily what fighter aircraft.

I know the F-4 was just coming on-line during this time period, so their numbers would be low.

Has anyone else gamed this time period in the air?
