Hi all Looking through the box I've found a ton of 40k stuff and fantasy? A mix of unopened, unused, part used part Completed stuff. A full tyranids painted army and a lot of guard troops painted to a table top level? Can't say I want any of it. Any ideas on where to post them for sale? Any companies take job lots ? Or split them and post them separately? All uk based Cheers Keith |

No use to anyone, just scrap value, ship them to me and
Hell who am I kidding. Sort them into boxed, unboxed but complete, loose bits and painted, then it is Ebay or here or suchlike. |

Yup, like FreddBloggs said. Sort and sell on ebay. |

Sounds like you found a pot of gold. EBay will be your friend. At least check it for prices. Selling on a GW forum might get you more money if you don't want auctions. |

Can sell them on Bartertown as well. |

Ebay is your friend I suggest you study Ebay marketing and trends for a week or two. Some things to consider
1. Do you want an established minimum bid on the item? Quality painted armies frequently start off at $300 USD+ minimum bids and I have seen them as high as $1,000 USD+ 2. Postage and shipping costs 3. My experience is people will post the items they want to sell on the weekend with the bidding to expire next weekend. On Monday see if you have a lot of competition it might be best to hang onto your items for a week or two if there are multiple sellers of the same items. I had a good laugh one week when there was a bidding war on an item. Some guy watching the bidding must have thought I have two of those in my closet and he posted them. The bidding war stopped on the original item and I was able to pick up the second guys stuff for a fraction of what I would have paid for it. 4. Selling everything as a lot is a good way to go if you just want to be rid of it. 5. Selling as individual items might earn you more money but multiplies your headache of packaging and shipping. 6. Try to have your auction end the day after established paydays. |

DO NOT GO TO BARTERTOWN! that place is filled with people wanting something for nothing. you will be bombarded with offers that will never work out. people telling you they will have the money "in a few days. can you hold them for me?" that kind of bs. stay far away from bartertown

For stuff that is truly rare or commands a high price, Ebay will get you the best $, but you also have Ebay fees to consider. I do a lot of used GW via Bartertown and TMP. I usually post both places. Newer stuff tends to sell at BT and classic stuff tends to sell here, though it's by no means a hard and fast rule. |

Some OOP stuff goes for an absolute fortune based on its rarity value. Ebay can turn lead into gold. |

I don't think the UK bartertown site is much known. People slag off eBay, but for access to a large potential market it can't be beat! |

Even better, hold onto the stuff and use it to play hordes of the thing. |

So far I have found that the Marketplace here on TMP is your best bet. I will have to concur with John Lacour that Barttertown is too much of a hassle and I have sworn off ebay because of the fees. I have had great experiences selling and buying here on TMP. Now some things I have posted for sale never got a bite and you need to keep that in mind. I normally do not do auctions. I just post how much I want for the stuff and ask the buyer to pay shipping. If I do not get an offer then I wait and either post it later at a reduced price or add it to the flea market box for when I go to a convention. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Kim |

Give Trolltrader.co.uk a look, they might take all you have in one go. |

try the buy and sell part of the lead adventure forum, ive sold a bunch of stuff on there with the bonus of no ebay or site fees |
Wolfprophet | 16 Jun 2014 10:38 a.m. PST |
Try Dakka
. since it's the main forum for GW games players. More likely to get a good deal out of them there. |

Sell them on ebay individually. That's the most profitable way. |

I guess I have had good luck with bartertown, depends on who you deal with and how you run things I guess. Have bought and sold stuff on here too and has always worked out:-) |
