…Redefines ‘Obsession'.

"If Vic Mignogna bears a passing resemblance to James Tiberius Kirk, there's a reason for it: with a group of like-minded fans and a whole lot of attention to detail, he's executive-producing (and directing, and starring in) Star Trek Continues, a fan project that extends the show's original mid-'60s CBS run another two seasons. The Trekkers have reproduced everything from costumes to lighting to the flight bridge of the USS Enterprise, all in an aim to help realize the show's five-year mission. Our new video series "Obsessed" has its own five-part mission: to tell the tale of Mignogna's passion project, and keep you entertained along the way. There's a lot cool stuff coming out of the "fan" community. I backed Prelude to Axanar, a fan produced Trek featurette, staring people like Richard Hatch and JG Hertzler (Martok from DS9), as well as a few other names. Besides Continues, another project is Renegades, which IIRC netted Walter Koenig among others…

Wow! That fan remake of the original series is amazing looking! The set, the costumes, the lighting, and direction all looks so similar to the Star Trek that I knew and loved as a boy. I am impressed. I hope the scripts and acting match the quality of the rest of the fan series.

Here is a link to Vic's ST channel: YouTube link

We've been all over this for a long time. While the other fan ST shows have been major cheesy, Vic's is top notch. What anime has Vic not been in! ;-)

He does an excellent Kirk. The stance, the body language , is all there.
The sets could pass for the originals.
