Hello friends
On my new blog my report about the battle of Austerlitz played in our club in Milan, Italy.
The report is in three parts and was written in Italian, but there are lots of photos.
Hope you like, comments always welcome.

Nice looking game! Some great painting here as well.
Sorry my Italian is non existent. Who won? Tried to Google fu the translation.
I like that you are playing Shako 2. Our group plays this rule set as well.

To properly play Austerlitz, the Russian commander needs to be drunk. Looks like you all had plenty of fun. Shako rules?

Thanks for your comments.
In our club we play ShakoII, IMMO is the best rule set for the period. I think that napoleonic battles must be played at battalion level I played for years Empire from third edition until the last, but I prefer Shako.
French were the winners, The allied lost 50% of the unit and the play finished at the turn 15. We used the scenario from Rise of eagles book.
We always used the tournament rules that at 50% of lost units the play end.
All the best

Not that familiar with Shako, how many stands per battalion? Some of the pictures looked like just 2-3 stands.

In shako is not important how many stands are in a battalion. I use for example 2 stands (3cm wide x 4 deep) with 6 miniatures or 4 stands (3 x 2 deep) with 3 miniatures each. All standard bases works well, for example the most common 2 x 2 is perfect.2 stands are the minimum to have column or line.

Nice! Shako was a good rule set. Played it for years.
