I've got the bug to make some giant monsters, because I really liked the recent Godzilla movie, so am in the process of having a few made. One is already well underway -- King Tramlor, who is a cross between an eight legged armadillo and the graboids from Tremors, very loosely speaking. Another will be Krankus, who will be part King Kong, part Rancor. Krankus has not been started yet. I am also going to make The Attack of the 350 Foot Woman, a redheaded newspaper opinion columnist who has a strange reaction to a marijuana chocolate bar she eats too much of and suddenly grows to be 350 feet tall. There are lots of things she's always been irritated by and now she has the chance to really do something about it! Ok, so that one's not so serious, but then again these are giant monsters after all. Any other ideas about monsters that you all would like to see made? I have just received Monsterpocalypse and while that seems to be fun it's a very closed universe, but other game systems seem to let you field whatever monsters you want. They will be a nominal 3mm scale (whatever that means), King Tramlor being for instance about 75mm long. |

a redheaded newspaper opinion columnist who has a strange reaction to a marijuana chocolate bar she eats too much of and suddenly grows to be 350 feet tall Haha! I'd actually be tempted by that one. MoDowd the Mighty! How about a giant mutated astronaut? Lots of those in '50s and '60s movies. (Well, some mutated, some giant.) Of course, his spacesuit would have to grow, too. Maybe two options, helmeted and bare-headed. |

If you'd want to do miniatures of some of the GMR universe monsters (such as Gorilla X) we might be able to work something out. :) (yes, this is a selfish attempt to see GMR monsters as actual figures. :P ) -Ken Radioactive Press |

Giant sea lion with a sea anemone for a head? Nice try -- I should have specified, I won't be doing any portraits of any of you! |

Glad to see Khurasan dipping its toes in this under-appreciated game genre! I have a large collection of 3 inch gashapons from Japan, so something 75mm high/long should fit right in. I would be less interested in the kitschy stateside B-movies than the actual kaiju movies from Japan, tho. Authentic Japanese monsters are weird, colorful and cool. Idea: GORGONZILLA, a huge mass of putrefying, sentient cheese that has decided the world is his cracker! (I think I just broke my own preference. . . ) |

I'll break down again and say there are some B-movie monsters I like. I always thought it would be neat to have a mini of . .. the Crawling Eye!

Glad to see Khurasan dipping its toes in this under-appreciated game genre! I have a large collection of 3 inch gashapons from Japan, so something 75mm high/long should fit right in. The benefit of it is many giant monsters would make nifty sci fi beasts in larger scales too, like 15mm. Not to say I'll be making them overly generic -- my first priority is to scale them to look epic. Haywire, they'll be bigger than the sponk. Aryan, no plans to make a shark coming out of any orifice of any of these. |

Land shark and land orca – mortal enemies! Keeping with the "ocean" theme – sawfish (like Knifehead from Pacific Rim, but with a saw) |

Id love to see some sea-monsters too, some gigant shellfish, like a hermit-crab monster and of course, squid monsters. you can never have too many squid monsters! |

They are good, although a little limited unless fully amphibious. Like Ebirah from the Godzilla movies, pretty much hanging out near the shore of the island. |

Whatever a giant monster's appearance, somehow it can always shoot lasers out of its eyes or mouth. Every man on this forum has probably, at some point in his childhood, wished he could turn into a giant monster that could shoot lasers out of his eyes or mouth. |

Hey, Heroclix inserts sculpts of its world champion onto game figures, we need a Giant Monster tournament to determine once and for all who gets to become a kaiju. Then, we can show it to everyone so that they know how, er . . . cool we are. |

Late to the game, but how about Escargantuan, a giant snail that SLOWLY demolishes human civilization (yes, it's a Monsters vs. Aliens reference)? Or a pack of Giant Mutant Shrews, created by a scientist for reasons that must have seemed really good at the time but are really, really stupid in retrospect? But seriously, one of the nice things about the Kaiju genre is that it's very easy to make miniatures that are homages without just copying the concept outright. Plenty of giant reptiles stomping around, for example. -Will |

Ah, I forgot you already HAD a giant snail monster. Sculpt a 'non-waterline' version of that and you should be good. -Will |
