Very well done.

If you're ever in LA, I highly recommend a visit to the La Brea tar pits and museum. Lots of megafauna toys in thye gift shop, too.

I've seen a documentary on La Brea. It's on my list to visit.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. There is a display case of a few HUNDRED dire wolf skulls* – a sample of the enormous number of dire wolves that got mired in the pits because they jumped in after trapped prey animals.
