As promised yesterday, here is the second game set in the wider scope of D-Day this weekend and here is the report: link This time it is not based o a historical encounter but fictional. And the camera was working a little better, so the photos are marginally better as well! Enjoy, Burkhard

Good report! Nice pics. I don't think you can ambush fire mortars (per your pre-empt this with mortar strike note). |

Thank you both! @Lest we forget: I think it might be impossible with on-board mortars, but with the off-board mortars it should since you onlyy need an order for the spotter that way. But I think you might be right, depending on whether the rules say you can only attack on the Ambush action (and not spot). I need to look that up when I get home later! |

Nope… Cant Ambush with mortars as even onboard, they need a spotter. Although… Ambush fire on a pre-registered target point might be something we need to clarify… |
