Sorry but I gotta ask this. So WHY in a bunch of the most criminal, violent, morally bankrupt felons and tugs does the ONLY female figure has her shirt open going topless. I suspect it's to show she's female.. I mean even simple continuity would suggest-- none of the male pirates have their man parts showing. |

Personally I have some difficulty with large holes cut in hat brims – tricorns do not look like this, it's cartoonish! – but many of the other miniatures are very nice. |

She's not the only female figure! The figure behind her is Mary Read, dressed in mens clothes. We went for the bare chested Anne Bonny because one of the legends was Anne and Mary fought with their shirts open to show their opponents they were being beaten by girls. There are conflicting tales of course, but we weren't going to let that stop us. So we chose to do one of each. |
