I looked around for information about these figures before purchasing, but didn't find much – so I thought I'd contribute with my experience for other fellow 15mm Fantasy lovers. link
I hope it can be useful to others! |

thanks, that's a really nice review. I was wondering if I should get some of these – I've always been happy with Magister Militum's service, but I haven't had much of a problem with flash – most of my minis from them are pretty clean. |

Good review and some useful pictures. Got to agree with TwinMirror here though, got a lot of Chariot figures over the years and never had a problem with excess flash. Perhaps it was just a bad batch that you got hold of? |

Thanks! I'm glad to know the problem was isolated. I have painted some MM Orcs & Goblins too, the Chariot ones were good, while the Blood Dawn ones had lots of flash and it took long time to remove it with file and cutter. I have some Chariot Undead and Blood Dawn Dwarves which came with the same order and are still to take out of their packs, I'll let you know my experience. |

I have a lot of Blood Dawn figures from Magister Militum and various others from their other ranges. If there was flash on the figs it must have been very little as i cant remember ever getting annoyed about it. The only time i had a problem with an order mistake i talked to them and it was cleared up quickly and easily. The only thing to watch for is the old Chariot figures are real 15mm and Blood Dawn are 18mm. For orcs it does not matter but the BD dwarves (beautiful figures) do not fit at all with 15mm. My collection is all big 15mm figures (Copplestone Barbarians, Eureka 18mm, MM Blood Dawn etc) link |

You did a hell of a job with that village, Robert. You should post something on the technique you used (if you haven't done it, yet). The miniatures are very well painted, too – I like the Barbarians most of all. The scale of Blood Dawn Dwarves was a big disappointment
they are almost as tall as Chariot Elves, so no chance of using them on the same battlefield. But they are so far the prettiest Dwarves I've seen in that size. I haven't painted them yet, but I'll post pictures as soon as I have them ready. |
