I'm building some Western Front forces (Valiant 25mm figures that have been on my shelves for ages now) and would like to play some early war games, so I need 25mm French figures
The only manufacturer seems to be Battle Honors and I have a few questions: - is OG the only supplier and/or is there one in Europe? - how do these figures look like and where can I find some pictures? - how do they compare with the Valiant ones sizewise? - the OG site does not even mention the number of figures in a pack. Any idea? Thank you, Rudi – TSA – Belgium |

no, but those are 28mm, not? I'm talking true 25mm. |

Timecast ( timecastmodels.co.uk ) can supply them in the UK. they only have 15mm packs on their website but can do the 25mm packs if you email them for a quote ( I'd expect they'd be able to supply them within the EU at least ) . |

Rudi, Here are four posts of mine that portray the Battle Honours WW1 British infantry. Although some of these British figures suffered from either poor sculpting or "bad"casting, once painted they look fine. link And you can see them being used in a VBCW game here: link They are the Anglican Cambridge Fencibles in the medium blue coats with the brown backpacks. Our own Mr. Gajo has some painted up, and his units reflect the packs pretty well: link BTD also has a small range of 1940 French armed with the MAS36. I'm not familiar with the Valiant figures, but the BH ones are just slightly smaller and slighter than the largest 28s, IMO. I think Iron Ivan Keith did a comparison here on TMP
but I can't find it. |

Thank you all, guys, but judging from Mr Gajo's work the 25mm Valiant ones are much slimmer (although stockier than e.g. 20mm Airfix etc), so it seems I'm still no step further
