I had a little time this weekend between work and my son's graduation open house, so I stopped by Johnny Con on the south side of Indianapolis. A great bunch of guys were just about to start a game of "Across a Deadly Field" and I was invited to fight with a Brigade plus of dismounted cav. The game was a learning experience for all 5 players for these new rules. Overall they seemed to play well, and the company was gentlemanly. The hospitality was great, the organizer had drinks and home made fudge. Definately this is a great small convention worth the time. |

Thanks for the good review. Wish you could have been there longer but understand family first. The First Day of Gettysburg on Saturday with ADF rules was great. You now have my email so lets us gather for some gaming. Mike Wedding posted some pictures on jriii@yahoogroups. |

I am looking forward to trying the ADF at historicon and how it compares with what I have been only able to play so far
being FnF. I do miss the gang in the Indianapolis Area! Good to hear historical gaming is still alive and well in the area! MG (Ex.player from Muncie/Winchester) |

I am looking forward to getting my hands on the rules for real. And I am the kind of guy who is leary of buying new shinny rules. |
