Just a quick note
Prompted by comment on Fat Wally's page and reasonable looking pics on their shop page, I bought some figures from 15mm.co.uk. It was 'fingers crossed' as I quite like some of the old TTG medieval figures, but some are not so good, and they can be on the small size. Service: this was excellent. I ordered on the Monday (standard service), got a shipping confirmation on Tuesday and the pack arrived on Thursday. All items were correctly supplied and there were no QC failures. Quality: I was really impressed – very nice figures at a low end price. Size comparison

)Sorry for the glare on bare metal, here's a test painted Swiss Halberdier
The whole range may not be as good as my batch but they are all pictured on the website and certainly these will mix nicely into my Museum Miniatures and others project. Worth a look if you are after 15mm Renaissance figures and with 10% on multiples of 10, some of the best value too. Phil |

Thanks for the heads up Phil. One of those weird old ranges that fits in with all sorts of stuff. |

I think they're are originally the old 'Asgard' range from the early 1980's, which later became TTG. |

Viking Forge in the US lists them as Asgard/Tabletop. The peasants in the Medieval line are a bit rough, but the longbowmen and men at arms are nice. I also Ottoman have some spahis that are quite good. I really like the Late Romans which I think were Alternative Armies, they don't match the LIR figures at Viking Forge at any rate. Wish they had a US distributor – I have a few cataphracts and clibanarii that I picked up from various sources and I need just a few additional men to complete units plus some extra horses for riders without. With flat rate 5.00 pound shipping I am more concerned about the time it would take to get them here in the US. Of course I also need a few more Norman knights, so

goragrad With flat rate 5.00 pound shipping I am more concerned about the time it would take to get them here in the US. My (within UK) order was despatched within 24 hrs with an email confirmation that the goods were on their way. so my guess is that end will be efficient. Phil |

Indeed Phil it is the crossing of the water that is of concern. |
