I don't think grrrrrm wrote it, but it's 100% accurate. Particularly about Titus Andronicus.

Nope, Martin's too skilled a writer to have written that street-level screed. It may have a point, but it's so poorly constructed and overly laced with profanity to have come from Martin's pen. Not that Martin's opposed to profanity-- he would just use it more skillfully than that.

It is a fake, not least as the screed presupposes that Sean Bean will be in the TV show when he first wrote the book.

Secondly the comparison with Shakespeare misses the point, his deaths are for dramatic effect, and the biggest blood baths are the denouement, not just thrown in because he got bored as GRRM seems to do.

Lastly when covering the Wars of the Roses, Shakespeare at least did some proper research and didn't throw his hands up and make it a cod medieval fantasy as the Historical version was too hard.

Unless George has been pushed beyond breaking there is no way he wrote this article. I have been corresponding with GRRM for years and this reads nothing like him. Just read his blog, it sounds nothing like him. Its a shame his good name has to be associated with such BS even if it is right in many ways.

I doubt George wrote it. If he had the last few paragraphs wouldn't be released for a couple more years.
