It's been a good week for finishing off troops and this morning these Falangista joined the Centuria.
My, as yet un-named, Jefe de Centuria has also made an appearance:
I also picked up a 'Fistful of Baggage' from Great Escape games and made some new Jump-off Points for our Chain of Command games.
As usual, more images and commentary on the Scrivsland blog link

It is quite apparent how your enthusiasm and painting talent combine to produce, yet again, another fantastic batch of figures. I know little of this period but you alone have interested me enough to delve into this fascinating period, and start the progress to game it. Thank you. |

Very nice. An inspiration for my 15mm guys. I have to ask though. Why do you paint your figures so pale? None of them look like they've been out in the Spanisn sun, or is that just the camera? |

Thanks chaps. I paint them pale for a few reasons. I like to give the troops a washed out 1930's almost sepia look as seen in many photos of the time and so that the European types contrast with the Moroccan Regulares I have painted. |
