Greetings from sunny France.

It's taken a long time for me to acquire some Wurttembergers but I've now got some.

Just like those by Bandolier, mine are also Front Ranks.

Excellent sculpts.

I've now got 5 line battaltions, 2 light, skirmishers, 10 guns and one each of Chevaux Leger, Dragoons and Chasseurs a Cheval.

Not a single one painted by me!

Should be arriving any day and I look forward to seeing them fighting some Russians.

Going to the Wurttemberger army museum in Rastatt on Sunday! Looks a good place:

No doubt sausages and beer will be available too!

Cheers,

Thank you again for the comments. Nice to see people are still enjoying the pictures.

Paul – Thanks for the link. It would be great to see all those uniforms up close.

Just amazing. Fantastic. What's next?

I am planning to do the same, but in 6mm :) Wurtemburg makes a decent division sized force that you can use for French or Allied armies

I thought that Wurttemberg gun carriages where stained woods but with yellow metal fittings, not black.

Which is correct?

Bandolier05 Feb 2019 9:07 p.m. PST

Thanks again for your comments.

Last year I sold these to nice bloke in Adelaide.

@138SquadronRAF – You are correct about the yellow metal fittings. Somewhere in my ramblings I mention that I deliberately went with blackened metal because it looked better.

Magnificent work!
Did the Jager zu Pferd have standard-bearers in 1809? Can't find their uniforms….

Outstanding Napoleonic painting, the guy in Adelaide must be well chuffed to have purchased them!
