Anyone know if there is going to be any new planes for the new edition of a Blue a Max? Or has anyone done some themselves?

I still have the original box set with the game chits for planes. Very inspirational to go to 1/72nd scale models in its place. Great game!!!

I too started playing Blue Max when it was nothing more than a printed up folder with chits.

We quickly moved to Canvas Eagles once that rendition came out… it was much expanded… lots mor eplanes etc…

I eventually left the 1/72nd world and moved to 1/144… Our group still plays 1/72nd, some of the guys even wire their planes… they are very beautiful. I just prefer more realistic scaling in a 5" hex. When using 1/72nd planes, you cannot fit a bomber or any lare 2 seater into the hex… at 1/144th scale, you get the scaling pretty well down… and.. it still is pushing it to get soem of the larger planes into the hexes!!!

I am very glad to see this game is coming back out!
