From the books.
Note that I do not consider such as Illyn Payne or the Blackfish "minor". I just mean obscure people who stand out.

Dolorous Edd. A gloomy depressing guy who you can depend on.

Aunt Genna Lannister. Everybody's favorite fat aunt. Says what's on her mind.

Adam Marbrand. A solid professional, dependable, even if he is on the side of the Bad Guys.

Pia. Poor thing. Treat her right, Peck.

Dolorous Edd has a huge fan following. He is one of my favourites. I like the TV version of Bronn as well.

It seems every time I find a character I like, he/she gets bumped off! I was liking Brionne, but she was in serious trouble when she was in the last book! I am still hoping Arya's fencing instructor survived the clash with the Lannister men. No body in book or show!;)

Jorry Cassel.
The first of Ned's men to bite the dust.

Hmm by John's rules

Daven Lannister (he seems a Kevan style character and Kevan=decency), Lord Manderly (the avenger for a lot of wrongs), Aemon Targarhyen (pretty cool character), Illyrio Mopatis (a minor character but huge player behind the scenes), Jod Coddigton.

Lancel.

Had they bothered to put Dacey Mormont on the tv show she would have been hot.

If the prostitutes of King's Landing are to be believed, Pod may not be so.. ahem.. minor.

Yeah, Kevan is a rock.

And the "It is known" girls are cute, even the vicious one who turns.

I miss Strong Belwas.
And Coldhands.

I really liked Strong Belwas- though being about as prominent as Payne, I suppose he doesn't count. Since I've already deviated from the poster's guidelines, I will change my answer to Jeyne Westerling. grin

(On a complete side note, I truly hope the screenwriters don't leave out Kevan & Cersei's scene. I'm waiting on that one!)
