Today I finished the first part of the unique and due to the shown details very valuable uniform series of F.G. Thieme, produced for the Prussian king in 1792. The plates show officers, nco's, musicians and soldiers with their uniforms in 1792 … so this series is the most reliable source about the Prussian uniforms during the wars of 1792 to 1795.

All plates except the infantry are published in our new uniform portal of Napoleon Online – these infantry plates will follow during the next 2 weeks.

Just follow the link given below and click on the plates – you may move from one to another. The menu may be changed to English or French by changing the flag – but unfortunately the texts accompanying the images are still in German :\

But although these texts are in German I think, the images speak for themselves and be helpful for your researches.

Kind regards from sunny Berlin

Many thanks NapStein. This is invaluable information.

All I need now is for someone to produce Prussians in 15mm for 1792.

Thank you. That is a beautiful set of plates. Now 15mm Bosniaks in winter uniform goes to the top of my wish list …

Thanks for your encouraging comments … I just added the light infantry to the series, i.e. Jäger and Füsiliere.

All the best

Pretty sure Magister Militum do them in 15mm, in the French Revolution range (ex-Chariot Miniatures)

the Thieme plates are outstanding in quality, covering trumpeters and drummers of each regiment.
