Great timing! Just when I need them. Thanks for the "heads up". Are these just on sale today? I see the other rule books are also cheaper – just under £6.00 GBP for the Germans, Italians, Soviets – about a third of the normal price. Or are they normally this price on Amazon? |

Damn, when you are from the Netherlands you have to shop kindle at Amazon.com. Still 18 USD there. |

You may be able to enter a UK address against your Netherlands credit card. I used a US address to buy some games which were on sale at Amazon US at one point. Remember to select the option "I use vinegar on my chips, as God intended" when you are buying these books, which is a test to catch out Mayonnaise loving horse sausage types.. |

The 3 books are only that price for today, the others are at their normal price for Amazon. I got the main rules at the weekend for just under £10.00 GBP so missed out today. Shame the German one isn't cheap as well. |

Now discounted in US Amazon too. [Edit: sadly not, please see my post below] [Edit] I already had the rulebook and Armies of Great Britain, but was glad to pick up Armies of The United States at such a good price. At £1.99 GBP the rulebook is a brilliant deal, although not quite as clear as the printed version, it looks just fine on my PC, and my tablet, and Warlord have a pdf of the playsheet available for download. Remember that the rulebook includes army lists for the US, USSR, GB, and Germany, for 1944 & 45 so there's plenty to be getting your teeth into without the army books. |

D -- I followed your link to Amazon US but I don't see the Bolt Action books. Just me? |

My apologies I have just accessed Amazon.com via a US based proxy, and I am not seeing the discounts either, in fact I can't find the Bolt Action books in particular at all. It seems that Amazon.com really does show me different deals to someone based in the US, how frustrating! |

They are two different sites. I cannot buy the book with my amazon account from the UK as I am an American based customer. It's pretty silly really isn't it. |

Brothers in the UK! Today I am a resident of the United Kingdom, thanks to the miracle of the Internet and the instructions posted on the Amazon UK site I made my residence be the United Kingdom. What a perfect day to be there. A Yank in the UK on the anniversary of D-Day. I went a little wild in ordering from the Amazon site. So many wonderful books for just 1 pound. Plus the ones for bolt action. Also the wargame compendium at 80% off, what a bargain. |

So you just create a fake UK physical address and are good to go, as long as you don't ship anything to that address? |

You can't do that, Kindle books and the ability to download them, are locked to a device. I suppose if you really tried and had two accounts on different kindles

Well, I guess I did not really down load those books after all to my single Ipad via my Kindle app. |
