"A very nice man at Wargames Foundry..." Topic

At Partizan on Sunday I mentioned to Marcus at Foundry, that I had run out of the lovely Saleh-sculpted Roman Centurions and Optios that I like to use to lead my Foundry Saleh legions, and that sadly these hadn't been in production for some years.

This morning a half dozen of each thudded onto my door mat! He'd searched for and found the mould, and spun it specially for me. That's what I call service! :-)

Awesome! I've had great service from them as well.

Perhaps Foundry could lead with a Skype/ FaceTime option for placing orders. From the OPs post, face-to-face ordering seems to work.

Sadly – it doesn't always work – I wanted the older larger unbarded horses that are shown on some of their packs to fit in with new units added to an old army… it was – no can do!

(I even offered to pay them to cut a new production mould from a spin of the old mould) – I really needed twelve more matching figures)

In the end I have done some rebasing and missed out the inferior knights for some of the new units (but if they could get the horses back….)

And yes I still regard foundry as one of the best figure manufacturers out there – It is just a shame they cannot get their entire range on the website, with the less popular figures with a time delay to get them spun up if you need them

The mounted Persians are excellent – but if I had not seen them at the Partizan show…

Are they not in the middle of a move right now as well? If they still are, this would make it even more impressive!
