The Disney subsidiary has just announced that Josh Trank, director of Chronicle and next year's Fantastic Four reboot, has been signed to direct a stand-alone Star Wars movie—one of the studio's planned slate that will be independent of J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII. "The magic of the Star Wars Universe defined my entire childhood," Trank said in a statement released by the studio. Considering the uproar over the F4 reboot…man this will not go over well at all…. FOX singlehandedly destroyed F4's reboot. Disney will go on to destroy Star Wars. Oh man. |

I'm not sure I survived Jar-Jar…I've never really considered those awful prequels as having anything to do with what I regard as the magical originals…thats just me…anything that comes after will I presume seem counterfeit as well |
