This obscure but striking pre-WWII French halftrack caught my eye. Apparently only 100 were built (according to wikipedia). Eaglemoss released a 1/43 pre-built and painted model that I can definitely visualize in a sci-fi setting. I may get one as a variant Hellhound for my Astra Militarum army.

And apparently so does Warlord. I think the 1/43 model would be ideal for heroic 28mm sci-fi games like 40K though. I can also see it as an Ork vehicle with some modification.
