Of possible interest to some, either to join the actual tours or use them as a template for your own excursions, Alison Weir Tours. I have visited a number of locations on the recent GLORIANA tour and, frankly, that was one to have been involved with. Hugely interesting to Medieval buffs. Well worth keeping an eye open for.

Alison Weir is the biggest-selling female historian in the United Kingdom. She has sold well over 2.5 million books worldwide, including The Six Wives of Henry VIII; The Princes in the Tower; Lancaster and York: The Wars of the Roses; Elizabeth the Queen; Eleanor of Aquitaine; Henry VIII: King and Court; Mary Queen of Scots and the Murder of Lord Darnley; Isabella She-Wolf of France, Queen of England; Katherine Swynford: The Story of John of Gaunt and His Scandalous Duchess and The Lady in the Tower: The Fall of Anne Boleyn.

Hmmmmm… What do you think of the mess she made of Richard IIIs history?

As you might guess, I don't rate her at all.

Pass. I have not read it. I liked her Katherine Swynford and one on British royals.

Oh, what a shame.

Well, for what it's worth, I still think there is value using her GLORIANA Tour itinerary and visiting those places. Have a pleasant summer.

As aye,

D'Ewell
