Three new packs of 28mm figures have been added to the online shop.

These include Texians in Shirtsleeves, Texians in tail coats and Texian artillerymen.

Wow, what a gorgeous line of figures !

Very extensive also, for the Alamo siege. Must be 150 different poses.

Very impressive.

Great miniatures.Any possibility of a US stockist?

malamute02 Jun 2014 7:15 a.m. PST

Sorry, no likelyhood of a US stockist anytime soon.

They look really good. Shame no US distributor. Any artillery in the works to go with the gun crews?

malamute02 Jun 2014 8:28 a.m. PST

I have the "Come and Take it" gun available, but no other guns planned yet. There's still alot to do before I get around to doing cannons.

They are lovely to paint too!

They scale up fine alongside Artizan, later Foundry and Old Glory. They are all about the same height. If you look in the gaming gallery on the Boot Hill website you will see games where the Texian forces use a mixture of the above manufacturers.

Malamute, You should really look for a US distributor. These are beautiful minis and you could prolly sell boat loads of these in the US and Texas.

Disco Joe03 Jun 2014 5:25 a.m. PST

I agree you do need a US distributor. I also feel you would sell alot of them here in the states.

Any plans for new ranges? I like the sculpting a lot…

malamute03 Jun 2014 9:11 a.m. PST

There is still quite a fair bit to do to complete the Texas War before I look at other ranges. However I have been thinking lately about early Texas Rangers (1834s-1850s) and Comanches. :)

There is a post office in a number of countries other than the US guys. Some of them work quite well too! ;-)

I don't agree about the size. The early figures in the range, such as named Alamo defenders and the Zorro figures are considerably smaller than the Mexican troops – More like true 25mm figures. The more recent Alamo figures like the New Orleans Grays are the same 28mm size as the Mexicans. Given the average height of a Mexican soldier was about 5'2" then having the Texans as half a head shorter looks ridiculous.
