Thoughts on villains and miniatures to use for them, on my blog.

Very cool!

In your next installment (episode?) I hope you get to my favorite Scooby Doo villain: The Spooky Space Kook:

In my spare time, I've been messing around with converting an appropriate mini, adding Kook details and a skull to a superhero dolly, but I'm nowhere near being done with it.

Then I'll tackle his ship:

Hasslefree do a very goods coo bier gang. I ran a game at my club last year. I used heroclix figures for the towns people and villain. Also had a special guest star ' the Doctor'. It went very well considering most of the players are adults.

@jpattern, excellent graphics – would love to see pics of your conversion!

The Creepy Heap from the Deep :) There's plenty of Cthulu types that would work for this. :)
I'm currently digging this guy from Black Ball miniatures

Good stuff. Really like idea of crossovers (Scooby Doo had quite a few), Doctor Who is a brilliant idea imo.

Horrorclix had an undead cosmonaut that would probably work although the suite is not as big as the one in the pic above.

The space ship comes in the Nerf range of dart type throwing toys, at least if it only needs to be about 6-8 inches long. There have been numerous knock-offs in the bargain shops.

Talking of crossovers, I've got a Scooby Doo/Big Bang Theory Pulp Alley game coming up.

What are you folks using for rules. I have the Ganesha Game's Fear and Faith horror rules. Along with their not-Scooby rules, Kooky Teenage Monster Hunters. I haven't had a chance to play yet but I do have s lot of Heroscape monsters to run a decent game with. I just need to get Scooby and the gang to terrorize.

Hadn't heard about those so will check them out.

I've ordered a set of 7TV from Crooked Dice, so hope those work too.

Lots of ideas swirling around… :)

One of these might be easier to use as a base for the Spooky Space Kook.

Moonbeast, I'm using the Fear Phantoms as the Kook's henchmen, along with some Crooked Dice Vashta Nerada and some Clix Cosmonauts and Astronauts.

The HorrorClix line has a lot you can work with for Scooby Doo type monsters. Are you going to go with detailed, realistic looking monsters or cartoony ones?
