Hi All,

Over the past year or so I have been sculpting, moulding and casting some Dungeon Critters. Now with the spiders finished I wanted to share them with you guys. They are about 25mm scale and made from white metal. Some were pigs to cast and some easy. The scorpion with 8 legs, a tail and pincers was the hardest,I think, as it needed an insane number of vents. They were moulded with RTV silicone and then drop-cast.Here is a photo and there are more on the blog.

Hi Kropotkin, great work!
Are your minis available to buy? I tried your link but it appears to be broken.

Those are really great: Add my name to the list if you do fancy putting some up for sale or trade, I would take a few of the Borer Beetle, the Stirge type flyer and the Slug.

Thank you gents for your kind feedback.

The idea that others might want some of these is great. At the moment I have a few of each cast already. I have to say that these are very much amateur attempts at casting and sometimes a cast can be great and the next time an utter disaster. So I am unsure as to putting them up for sale as I cannot guarantee quality. I think that one of the reasons is that I am not using the "best" modern metals which I have found dramatically increases the quality of the cast.

I would, of course, send people "good" casts.

In a nutshell, if you guys do want some of these then please e-mail me at

Thanks for the positives guys.
