I have not bought any new lead in ages – several years, in fact. But I recently decided on two new projects: Dark Ages in 15mm (Vikings and Saxons) and some more 6mm SciFi for use in my BattleBox. The Dark Ages stuff will be handled by Evil Bob and his painting minions, but I'm painting up the 6mm stuff myself. I've been on a huge basing, finishing, sorting and organizing tear since last summer, so although I've used brushes and paint, it's all been either damage repair (a dab here, a dab there) or basing (slop it on, and drybrushing). Yesterday I got my order from Microworld. Tonight I painted up two squads. One of TEF infantry, plus a buggies, and one of Kreen Soldier Caste. I need to do the basing before the pics, but it's been fun getting my "mojo" back! |

I totally get this! I just started on a new project/period after a hiatus of a few years. Very exciting! |

Coincidence but I just got back into miniatures about a month ago after 5 years. Dug through some boxes in storage and found hundreds of figures left in various forlorn stages of painting. Got about 30 cav and some chariots for my 15mm Late Arch Persian army done and cleaned up a few hundred dusty 15mms. Now working on finishing a few 1/300 WWI planes started 9 years ago! |
