Another unit completed and based. Making real headway on the miniatures I have for this Zulu War sub-project. Some Boers and British Lancers next – then starting on the Zulu. Thousands of them. link

Nice work! Is he the same Younghusband as the one who led the expedition to Tibet in 1903? Hmm, I guess not: link |

then starting on the Zulu. Thousands of them. Seriously? How many will you need
Are you planning on doing any AAR's when your done? I'd love to see them all in action. |

Well, maybe not Thousand of them. But certainly hundreds. Once I get them all done I definitely will be getting mates around for a game. |

Right
<looking rather embarrassed> well even hundreds is quite the project
What sources will you use for the Zulus
I'd imagine there must be subtle differences between "ranks"

Very well done. Wish I could be in London June 10th for the 50th Anv. Zulu showing. |

Some lucky blighter over at LAF scored tickets to that showing. When I was in London in 1989 I got to see the re-issue of Lawrence of Arabia at that big cinema in Leicester Sq where the premieres are held. Some of these movies are just so much better on big screens. At Peter Jacksons's Embassy theatre in Wellington you could petition for a movie to be shown and if they got enough interest they would screen it. I got to see Ben Hur on the big screen – a movie that came out before I was born. |
