New Orky goodness in the form of "Morkanaut and Gorkanaut." I've never been one for Orks but I am so tempted by these super-detailed and characterful new machinz.

$210 USD! What?

Ron W DuBray30 May 2014 2:35 p.m. PST

UN real cost

jpattern230 May 2014 2:36 p.m. PST

Agreed, really nice, but not at that price.

fairoaks02430 May 2014 3:34 p.m. PST

That is the price for two, still not cheap

Regards

Jim

Judging by the size of the Ork sitting behind the arm gatling cannon of the yellow Gorkanaut it's quite big, so the price isn't inconsistent with what GW typically charges for such oversized monstrosities.

Still, I agree they're not cheap since the larger Stompa's only $10 USD more.

Mithmee30 May 2014 4:45 p.m. PST

Yup, $210 USD then add in taxes and they are $230. USD

So they are not worth buying because they will be worth running in a game due to their point cost.

Just more of GW trying to get money from their fanboyz.

GW should just stop making any infantry and turn their game into a large model game.

For now. Isnt their annual price increase due sometime soon?

They better have been made by albino virgin Amazon maidens and anointed with unicorn giggles, for that price.

Garand30 May 2014 8:26 p.m. PST

Just more of GW trying to get money from their fanboyz.

Isn't this the point of capitalism?

For now. Isnt their annual price increase due sometime soon?

They haven't been doing that the past couple of years.

Damon.

More GW bashing. Move on already. This website should be called the Cheapiaturespage.com

Stick with your paper forts and bags of cheap metal miniatures.

Pictors Studio30 May 2014 9:28 p.m. PST

They really aren't badly priced for the size of the model you get.

As long as GW is still in business I will continue to bash them.

Oh and their latest Edition of 40K is not going over all that well either.

Oh and yes I will stick with my cheap metal miniatures.

I much prefer these over the Finecast Resin and overpriced plastic models that GW is pushing now.

Oh and they didn't require 30 minutes to put just one together.

Well it shows a lot of class to come in and hijack a persons post, who is clearly excited about the release, with negative comments and the same old complaints. It isn't the 70's anymore. Nor the 90's when those figures were released. If you enjoy them that's great but to Bleeped text and moan about the same old tired issue is just rude.

Enjoy your felt forests.

Man, I love every bit of it and may actually buy some of that Orky goodness even though I haven't played 40K in years. I Really like all of those models! Thanks for posting, 28mm Fanatic.

Insomniac01 Jun 2014 11:24 a.m. PST

Those Mork/Gorkanauts… they are APCs aren't they?

That is a novel idea :)

kalgaloth01 Jun 2014 1:44 p.m. PST

I believe the one is an APC I am unsure about the 2nd version. Awesome looking models.

Thing is GW is still having the same old issues.

Selling overpriced models and lousy game rules to their Fanboyz, two years after 6th Edition they have to come out with the 7th Edition.

I call that a money grab.

GW is failing it is only a matter of time.

They can't keep themselves a float with price increases.

Centurio Prime06 Jun 2014 11:02 a.m. PST

Oh no, not the "GW is going out of business thing" again… That one's as old as Internet forums. I mean seriously. If GW ever does go under, I guess there will be 2 generations of neckbeards dancing on its grave! Luckily GW has enough "Fanboyz", whatever that is supposed to mean.

Mithmee06 Jun 2014 1:09 p.m. PST

Yeah, and they are losing more of them each year.

They post a profit because they increase their prices every year.

Oh and some cases they double the price of their models – Dire Avengers $35 USD for 10 to $70 USD for 10.

Today most of their gamers can only afford one army for one of their two systems.

I have 9 armies that span both systems plus another 5 for 40K Epic but they killed that game nearly 17 years ago.

But if I had to buy these armies today I couldn't afford to do it.

They got hammered in the Lawsuit last year and have needed to kill 6th Edition 40K two years after it was released.
