Not to sound ungrateful or anything but
For the last 3 days, none of the topics I had opened had any new traffic. So it makes me wonder if the Ignore function would preserve them any longer, if I Ignored the usual suspects. Assuming that Ignore was up and functioning, that is. |

My front page goes back to Wednesday, and none of your topics are visible – except this one of course. Either there's a problem with the posts – and I've found that topics that show a reply count of 0 don't show on the front page, or you're on boards I don't look at. |

For the last 3 days, none of the topics I had opened had any new traffic. If a topic hasn't had any new traffic for 3 days then it's more or less a "dead" topic. |

Winston-- Ignore will make somebody's threads disappear from YOUR page but all those posts will still be on the main page, so it would not keep your topics there any longer at all. If you don't get a lot of hits folks simply might not be interested in what you are posting. It happens sometimes

The use of 400 is that topics are not forced off the front page, thus you don't have to go looking in the individual message boards. But after a few days most messages stop getting new posts so fewer new messages but ease in finding posts you missed the first time round. Ignore, when it works, sort of does the same thing. Topics are not forced from the front page and you can find topics without having to search individual boards, but it has a shorter time frame. |
