Howdy, Well, the Tannenberg campaign is done. Took about a year to play, what with the vagaries of life and all. I'd originally hoped to do it in six months. It was fun. It would have been better if we could have resolved more of the battles with miniature table play. The result, a draw. Casualties about even, slight advantage for the Germans. The Russians still on East Prussian soil (at Gumbinnen). The campaign rules and map will be Scenario No. 5 in the soon forthcoming scenario book, Great War East -1914. Still aiming for a Historicon release. Ponder on, JAS |

The campaign was played for 12 turns. The turn 11 battles where the Russians held decided the campaign, as the Germans were not able to break into the Russian rear to cut supply. JAS |
