I still need to paint the rocks and the trees and add downed tree limbs and so forth but it is nearly done and should be finished today. The upper parts of the trees and the canopy for this section won't yet be done but I'll probably start finishing the other side of the table before I get around to them.

Looks like it's going to be very good looking. Are you planing on making the trees removable, or just there tops?

The tops are removable. Each tree is made from a 12" piece of dowel rod cut into a 4" and 8" section. The 4" section gets attached to the board, the 8" section will slot over the pegs there.
