"TMP Talk" Topic

For discussion of community issues involving the website, including requests for new Message Boards, and just saying "hi" to Bill Armintrout (the Editor).

Thought I'd exercise the latter part and say "Hi Bill!"

Hope things are going well. TMP is still the best place for getting all sorts of information on all things Miniature Gaming. I've been on this board for more than 12+ years. here's to another, even better 12+ years!

I have to second what's being said. The TMP has greatly expanded my knowledge of gaming, and even helped with my thesis research.

TMP was a big miss last weekend when I couldn't get it to work. It is almost always the first site I visit when I put the computer on.

Yes good points. I love this site, and Bill has done well to address concerns around the last little unpleasantness.

No-one can honestly say he hasn't listened to concerns and moved fast to address them. A few glitches obviously but thats the nature of the IT beast!

Definitely my favourite wargaming discussion board.

I've got many friends here (though some can be a bit argumentative at times ;-) As a direct result of meeting them here on TMP, I've travelled from New Zealand to meet wargaming friends in America, Belgium and the UK.

The two hours when TMP is offline every evening almost make me feel disconsolate!

He doesn't have a fixed IP address, so I would have to block a range of NYC IP addresses, which would also block legitimate members of TMP.

I've been "here" for 12+ years as well. And currently TMP is the only forum I visit, at all, and has been the only forum I visit for many months by now….
