Hi
first posting.

Here's a battle report on a game we had last weekend.
30+ Brigades per side.
huntersflgs.wordpress.com

Homebrew rules.
I wanted something quick and simple where managing the ebb&flow was important. I also wanted to replay each turn in my head and have it fit in with descriptions I've read(and seen in movies too).
I had a good time, in good company. What more can you ask for.

My first attempt at inserting a picture in the post was an epic-fail. :)

A great way to spend a day, thanks for the write up, I enjoyed it very much and also enjoyed seeing your planning stage.

I'm not a relaxed enough person to have food / drink near the game table – my loss I am sure.

Looks like fun, even though I'm not into 6mm. : )

the coffee cup ruined it for me…

A great game and group, it is clear from the write up. I think the only mistake was using Jack Daniels instead of Bulleit, but oh well.

GamesPoet, 6mm has its unique place like no other scale. I am a happy convert after years of despising them. Open flanks, naval support and feats of engineering are all so much more convincing in 6mm!

I find that the more I love and learn about a period, the more scales I want to play it in, for different purposes. 6mm for grand tactical and operational or horde display on up to 28mm – 54mm for assassination or scouting or sabotage runs!
