Nice convention. Seems to have more supported actual large scale miniature games then the other west coast LAX Gamex (Strategicon) convention held on same weekend and better room lighting too! PEL list had 64 events just under the "historical miniatures" section. Strategicon down in Los Angeles should take careful note. |

Yes, KublaCon has always had a decent miniatures turnout
we are also supporting another – CelestiCon that occurs on the labor day weekend in September that has a great miniatures room as well. The French Foreign Legion game was awesome
Matt from our group put that and an AWI game on
he always goes the extra mile with terrain and figs. |

The lighting in the historical room was still average. I was not able to get as good shots as I would have liked. Those are nice photos though
sadly the venue itself was a clammy nightmare
but the historical area was airy and laid back for my one day of gaming
