I am always turned off by lego builds because I can see the round pips on the lego pieces. I cant see them on this. How did he do it? Great model though a bit large. |

My guess would be that they had custom made parts. With today's 3d printers (God, I SO want one of those toys!) you can do almost anything. Once you know the size and depth of the female pips it would be no problem to get the base patter for each piece location then snap them in. Very nice job on the model. |
