You paint real good. I don't see any photos from you gaming. This is a shame. Ain't in in the home of war gaming? I hope you find some opponents soon. If you haven't already…

Except for the cap maybe being a bit too bright, it looks really good! Brilliant idea for conversion too!

Thanks Robby, gamings not being on the agenda lately but I do plan to put that right. I've really got stuck into painting and modeling to try and get caught up on a few projects.

Mr Canuck, thank you also. The hats not as white as it looks, it could be the flash! Either its turned out better than I expected. I've got a couple more I'm working on so hopefully i'll be posting more pics soon.

So thanks for looking
Cheers for now Russ

Very clever!

You've given me inspiration for trying this with 54mm figures.

idontbelieveit26 May 2014 3:33 p.m. PST

Wow. That is really clever.

Fantastic work, nice to know Warlord and Vitrix match up sizewise too.

Zargon26 May 2014 4:35 p.m. PST

Yes brilliant use of bits and pieces Russ, Wonderful idea! This works well for 1920s RCW ideas as well.
Hemm Back of beyond ides are flashing in the brain as I type. Thanks and cheers PS a paint tut would be nice too :) cheek!

Cheers guys
dBerczerk glad to be of service, I'd not thought of it being used for other scales.

Idontbelieveit, thank you also for the kind words, I wasn't sure it would work but I think I got away with it.

Truscott Trotter, the only real difference is that the victrix figures are little bit taller but other than that they match real well.

Zargon, thank you also for your kind words. I've already done a paint tutorial for the Russians, it doesn't include black boots! I didn't think black boots didn't look right so i opted for brown. Black boots made them look to German. link

So thank for all the comments guys
If I get a chance I will a quick how to on the conversion work.
Thanks for looking cheers Russ

Thanks Cardinal, I intend to varie the colours on the great coats, when I get a few more done. I've got several in the process of being converted on the workbench as we speak.
