Hi I was wondering if any of Victrix Greeks are suitable for Philip V macedonians?

Cheers Mads

Not really.

Arguably could work, but the shields/equipment in general would be off quite a bit. The Greek phalanx and the Macedonian are two very different animals.

Compare an image search "Phillip V Macedonian army" with one for "Victrix Greeks"

From what I can see in the kit, a couple of the troops should work perfect. The ones that do not – hmm..dunno. Conversion?

Philip 2, maybe, as hypaspists (which some say were armed as hoplites), or mercenary hoplites, but not really as phalangites. For Philip 5, I think it would be a bit more of a stretch.

Not the hoplites far to early but I reckon the light troops could find a use in a late Macedonian army.

Some Macedonians did wear hoplite equipment. It is unclear who wore it. At minimum, you could use Greek allies or mercenaries armed as hoplites.

But saying that, the phalanxes from victrix are no good for fighting romans?

The peltasts and archers and slingers are very suitable. Many of the hoplites can be converted to pikemen with smaller shields.
