I have used these figures for about six years but have never actually re-fought the battle itself. Well now's the time! Rather pic heavy I'm afraid but you may find it interesting:

Very good!I am just down the road from you -- in Stakeford! I have always liked this period of Medieval history and have always wanted to see Otterburn wargamed! Thanks!

Inspiring work! I always admire those who put the time into researching the "Rolls" as it were…a true labor of love.

I also appreciate the occasional "historical re-fight". Granted, sometimes the circumstances or initial choices stack the deck to the extent that things are a forgone conclusion…BUT…

One never knows when a different turn of luck (death of a commander, etc.) might have steered history down a far different path.

Thanks for sharing.

Herkybird, do try to call in to the Border Riever club. We meet on a Wednesday 0700 till about 1000 at Blagdon Hall south of Stannington, you'd be very welcome.
Thanks Longshot, your right, all types of games have their place in our hobby, but I do particularly enjoy the challenge of trying to change history.
Dave.

Very nicely done! Your figures are beautiful. Who made the church by the way?

Rampantlion, I haven't a clue, had it for years!

Thanks Dave, just as well, I would just go buy it anyway, and I already have one!

I have a 28mm church that is…not this exact one. I am a sucker for medieval churches, I bet I have 20 in 6mm, 15mm and 28mm total. Silly.

Late to the party as usual….I think the church may be from Ian Weekley.

Hi Chris, thanks for the response. I checked Magister Militum and saw one medieval church. It has a slate roof and the tower is different. Maybe it is an Ian Weekly that is now out of production??
