"Attention, internet: You now have the chance to fulfill the dreams of your 12-year-old selves and be in the next Star Wars movie. All it'll cost you is a $10 USD donation to those in need. Admittedly, it could end up costing far more than $10 USD, but that's up to you. As part of a new program created in partnership with Unicef called Force for Change, aspiring actors can donate anywhere from 10 bucks to $50,000 USD for the chance to win a cameo in full costume and makeup in Star Wars: Episode VII. A $10 USD donation—the funds go to Unicef Innovation—will buy you one entry into the lottery, but there are different donation levels with additional rewards; $500 USD nets you 50 entries and exclusive concept art from Episode VII, for example, while $5,000 USD will result in a limited edition lightsaber hilt accompanying your 500 entries into the draw. That $50,000 USD donation? That gets you a private screening of Star Wars: Episode VII in or near your hometown ahead of the movie's official release

If you don't donate, a Jedi will swing by your house for a 'visit'. Don't worry though, you won't remember a thing. |

If I don't donate, in 20 years I'll still be able to claim I WAS a stormtrooper (the third one from the left) in this movie too. But it is a good cause, I'm not knocking that! |
